Beautiful Japanese Women

Here is an article that will surely please more the readers than the readers of the blog...

I made for you "my" Top 10 of the most beautiful Japanese actresses. Of course, it is purely subjective and I invite you to comment this article to add the names of the most beautiful Japanese women according to you. However, please take actresses, because you are not safe from a future article of this kind with other types of beautiful girls (sportswomen, singers, etc...)!

Girls, don't panic, I'll be back soon with a similar post with beautiful boys ;-)

Top 10: Erika Sawajiri

Erika Sawajiri (沢尻エリカ, born April 8, 1986 in Tokyo) is a Japanese actress. Like many, she is also (somewhat) a singer. Her father is Japanese and her mother French of Algerian Berber origin. She has played in a dozen films and as many dramas since 2002.

Top 9: Nozomi Sasaki

Nozomi Sasaki (佐々木 希, born February 8, 1988) is a Japanese model. Like many of her girlfriends in this Top, she is more or less an idol, so she is also an "actress" (these are DVDs about her actually... but hey, you'll forgive me!) and singer.

Top 8: Kyōko Fukada

Kyōko Fukada (深田恭子, born November 2, 1982 in Tokyo) is a Japanese singer and actress. She is a well-known star in Japan, also a model and was selected for a high fashion show in Paris. She played in Yatterman, Dolls or Ring 2.

Top 7: Haruna Kojima

Haruna Kojima (小嶋陽菜, born April 19, 1988) is a Japanese singer, actress and idol. She is in fact primarily a singer since she has had success with the J-pop groups AKB48, no3b and Team Dragon from AKB48. She also played in the movie Densen Uta in 2007. So yes, she has her place here!

Top 6: Kurara Chibana

Kurara Chibana (知 花 く ら ら, born March 27, 1982) is a Japanese actress, model. She is originally from the city of Naha, Okinawa. She participated in the Miss Universe 2006 pageant and finished in the Top 10.

Top 5 : Dan Mitsu

Dan Mitsu (壇蜜, born December 3, 1980) began her acting career in 2012 and has appeared in a small dozen Japanese movies and dramas. She was voted "Rookie of the Year" in 2014 at the Japan Academy Prize. Note that Dan Matsu is a pseudonym, her birth name being Shizuka Saito (齋藤支靜加). Gentlemen, I was forced to put a soft image here but I invite you to Google it if you like beautiful women in little outfits...

Top 4 : Yui Aragaki

Yui Aragaki (新 垣 結 衣, born June 6, 1988) is a Japanese idol, model, actress, singer, seiyū (voice actress in dubbing, that is) and occasional radio host. She has appeared in about ten movies and twenty dramas, not bad!

Top 3 : Kō Shibasaki

Kō Shibasaki (柴咲コウ, born August 5, 1981) is a Japanese actress and singer. She began her career as an actress by playing in very famous films including 47 Ronins with Keanu Reeves or Battle Royale. More recently Kō (or Kou) started singing. Her Instagram account is full of cats too (killer info!)

Top 2: Keiko Kitagawa

Keiko Kitagawa (北川 景子, born August 22, 1986) is a Japanese actress who played the role of Rei Hino in the live action series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

Top 1: Satomi Ishihara

Satomi Ishihara (石 原 さ と み, born December 24, 1986) is a Japanese actress.

Popular among Japanese fans, she has gained recognition for her acting talent. She started as an actress in dramas in 2003. Satomi Ishihara has appeared in various commercial events. Photo albums, photo collections and calendars with her image are available.
I admit that it's hard to establish a "ranking" among these 10 most beautiful Japanese women who are or have been actors...

Even though I "only" put her in the Top 3, I really love Kō Shibasaki. I think what I like about her is also her personality, she is not "just an idol". In fact, she is not an idol in my opinion. She is first of all a real actress. In short!

I let you vote for your favorite actress in this Top 10 to see if you agree or not, it will allow to know "which Japanese actress is the favorite of the French"! (at least in terms of appearance...)

And don't hesitate to add the names of your favorite Japanese actresses who could be missing in this article in comments ;-)
